Game Day Terms and Conditions

1. Gameplay Terms and Conditions

1.1. General Participation Rules

  • Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 14 years old. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian’s consent.
  • Health and Safety: Players must declare any medical conditions that could affect their participation. Players with injuries, health concerns, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to participate.
  • Waiver: All players must sign a liability waiver before participating. Players under 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
  • Conduct: Players must act responsibly, follow site rules, and respect other participants and staff.
  • Site Rules Compliance: Players must adhere to all instructions provided by marshals or staff. Failure to comply may result in removal from the game.

1.2. Gameplay Safety Rules

  • Protective Equipment: Approved eye protection (goggles or masks) must be worn at all times during gameplay or when in the game play areas.
  • FPS Limits: All guns must meet Swindon Airsoft’s FPS (Feet Per Second) limits. Guns will be chronographed before the game, which are clearly provided on the site rules on the booking pages.
  • Engagement Distance: Minimum engagement distances apply:
    • AEGs and GBBs: 10 meters
    • DMRs: 20 meters
    • Bolt-Action Snipers: 30 meters
  • Safety Zones: No firing or testing weapons in designated safe zones, all magaines must be removed from RIFs
  • Hits and Honesty: Players must call their hits loudly and clearly by shouting "HIT" to indicate they are out of play.

1.3. Liability and Disclaimer

  • Assumption of Risk: Participation in airsoft involves inherent risks. Players agree to assume all risks associated with gameplay.
  • Liability: Airsoft Armoury UK Ltd and Swindon Airsoft are not liable for injuries, damage, or loss of personal property unless caused by proven negligence.

2. Equipment Rental Terms and Conditions

2.1. Rental Agreement

  • Eligibility: Equipment rentals are available to all participants who provide valid identification and agree to these terms.
  • Inspection: Rented equipment will be inspected with the participant before and after use to note any existing damage.

2.2. Equipment Care

  • Responsibility: Participants are responsible for the proper use and care of rented equipment. Any misuse, negligence, or intentional damage will result in repair or replacement charges.
  • Damage/Loss: Participants will be charged for any damage or loss of equipment at the following rates:
    • Rifle: £153 for a replacement Rifle or cost of items required for repairs.
    • Goggles: £23 for a replacment mask or £13 for a replacement visor  
    • Chest Rig: £20 repair charge for any damages to chest rig
    • Speedloader: £5 for a replacement
    • Magazines: £16 for each replacement
  • Prohibited Actions: Participants must not disassemble, modify, or tamper with rented equipment, this includes removing batteries.

2.3. Return Policy

  • Timely Return: Equipment must be returned promptly at the end of the event.
  • Inspection on Return: All rented equipment will be inspected upon return. Any issues not previously noted may be charged to the participant.

2.4. Liability

  • Safety Compliance: Participants must use rented equipment only as instructed by Airsoft Armoury UK Ltd staff.
  • Disclaimer: Airsoft Armoury UK Ltd is not responsible for injuries or damages caused by improper use of rented equipment.

3. General Terms for Both Gameplay and Rentals

3.1. Booking and Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings: Entry booking can be made in advance or by walk on bookings, rentals booking MUST be made in advance. Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Cancellations: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable but credit can be carried forward to future gameday.
  • Rescheduling: Rescheduling requests are subject to availability

3.2. Force Majeure

  • Airsoft Armoury UK Ltd is not liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond its control, including extreme weather, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

3.3. Privacy

  • Data Collection: Personal information provided during booking or participation will be stored securely and used only for event management purposes.
  • Photography: Participants may be photographed during events for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform staff in advance.

3.4. Amendments

  • Airsoft Armoury UK Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and communicated to participants as necessary.
